The Shasta Celtic Society, formed in 1996, continues to be the central-most force in bringing the very best in Celtic entertainment to the greater Shasta-Cascade area of Northern California. Past concerts have featured such well-known talents as Natalie MacMaster, Old Blind Dogs and Dervish, to name a few.
In our quest to promote and celebrate Celtic culture, we hold several socials every year. Chief amongst them is our signature gala event, our Burns Night Supper held in January, at which we honor the life and works of Scottish poet Robert Burns in high Scots style.
We invite you to become a member of the Shasta Celtic Society! Membership benefits include: discounts on tickets to Society events, a bi-monthly newsletter that lists all regional Celtic happenings, gatherings for members only and, best of all, a chance to participate in bringing Celtic culture to the local area.
